On Saturday, Oct. 26, the Boca Grande Halloween Carnival, sponsored by Lee County Parks and Recreation and the Friends of the Boca Grande Community Center, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Boca Grande Community Center.
The carnival will start off with a costume contest at 2 p.m. sharp. The age groups will be infants to age 3, 4 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 12-year-olds. There is also a family/group division.
Registration will take place in front of the outside stage from 1:30 to 1:50 p.m.
Following the costume contest, the carnival will include homemade carnival games, two gigantic inflatable’s, a dunk tank, the cake walk and carnival treats.
Volunteers are needed to staff the game booths, pass out food and help with overall preparations of the carnival. If you would like to volunteer or donate a cake, call the Community Center at 964-2564.
The Boca Grande Area Chamber of Commerce Merchant Halloween Walk will be held on Halloween afternoon downtown from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m
