The Rotary clubs of Englewood and Placida are sponsoring a Stuff-A-Trailer event to collect sneakers, school clothes and school supplies for greater Englewood boys and girls in grades K-12.
Items donated will be given to Kids' Needs Greater Englewood, FL, Inc., a local 501(c)(3) dedicated to helping children stay safe and in school and will be distributed at the annual Englewood YMCA Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 3.
Lemon Bay High School students Hannah Gurland and Tori Hamrick (pictured above) had read about the event and when they passed the Walgreens drop-off location, decided to stop by to see how they could help. The Lemon Bay High School sophomores joined Rotary Club of Englewood member Alfred Current and stood on the corner to attract donors to the site.View More images >>
