Lincoln to visit Boca Grande, proceeds to benefit the Boca Grande Child Care Center

Here’s a chance in a million for any lover of history. Take a step back in time and visit with the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, in a program called “Lincoln Lives” on Monday, April 8, at 5 p.m., at the Gasparilla Inn Beach Club for the benefit of the Boca Grande Child Care Center.

Dr. Gene Griessman is a world-renowned impersonator of Abraham Lincoln. He has performed in Ford’s Theater, the Georgia Dome before 25,000 people and countless conventions, schools and universities.
Griessman has received the highest ratings ever given a speaker by many organizations. He has written a book as well, called, “The Words Lincoln Lived by,” which is a collection of Lincoln quotes which has received national acclaim.

Griessman’s portrayal of Lincoln has been called funny, charming, humbling, touching and relevant, especially to our current time.

A reception will follow the presentation, photo opportunities will be available then.

All proceeds will go to the Boca Grande Child Care Center. Tickets are $100.
