Food for the Poor directors travel to new Haiti building site

Boca Grande’s Food for the Poor Directors headed to Haiti  this past week to visit Friendship Villages I and II, and to visit the new site for Friendship Village III.

The group will be visiting Boca Grande Friendship Village I and II that were built by the good people of Boca Grande.
 

“We want to see how the people are doing, as well as the farms, schools, goats and the communities. They are planning on visiting the site for the new village that we will raise funds for and build in 2013” says Ben Scott.  

The fundraising event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at The Gasparilla Beach Club.
