Profile: Kirby Outerbridge

Kirby Outerbridge may have begun his life in Connecticut, but he greatly prefers the sunshine of his adoptive hometown of Venice.

Kirby, whose father is a native Bermudan who met his mother while she was on vacation to the Atlantic island, lived in the New England state until first grade.

“My father wanted to give living in Bermuda as a family a try, and my mom agreed,” he said. “Back then, Bermuda wasn’t the place it is today. It was a lot less developed. I lived in Bermuda for first and second grade. My mother didn’t like life there full-time, so we moved to where my grandparents lived in Venice.”
