
Lemon Bay Conservancy will host a free open house at Wildflower Preserve from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8.
Trail guides will offer short trail walks throughout the day on new trails, leading to the varied habitats within the preserve.
Different walks will be available on the eastern and western sides of the property. Visitors should wear shoes and clothing appropriate for a nature hike.
On the western walks from 9 to 11 a.m. visitors can observe the work underway on the juvenile tarpon research project in Lemon Creek and talk with the research team.
