Garden Club holiday magic ...

The Boca Grande Garden Club will hold its annual Christmas Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 11:30 a.m. at the Gasparilla Inn private dining room.

The co-chairs, Shelly Corl and Jennie Albertson, have selected “A Storybook Christmas” as their theme for table settings.

Tables will be done by the following members (1) Georgia McGurl (2) Jane Moore, Lee Ann Tobin, and Lois Hayden (3) Dee Wheeler and Nancy Lingeman (4) Marjorie Moore and Judy Thomas (5) Sue Reske, Hilary Dahms and Sharon Blasdell (6) Nell Cox (7) Betty Fisher (8) Jane Mauceri (9) Bettie Coulter, and (10) Connie Sayer and Molly McCreadie.

Katie Adams, a professional storyteller, will provide an exciting and highly-lauded enactment of selected Christmas stories as the entertainment.

The menu will include a shellfish dish, but please note that an alternative dish will be provided for those who may have allergies.

Tables will be open for viewing at 11:30 am. There are still a few seats available. The price is $48 for members and $60 for non-members.
