An Election Day tradition

On election night in 2000 Bonnie McGee called her good friend Becky Paterson and asked, “What are you doing? Let’s go to the Temp and watch the elections.”

It was 10 p.m., Bush was running against Gore, and Becky said, “I’m in my pj’s.” Bonnie replied, “So am I, meet me there!”

Paula was tending bar and there they sat, in their pj’s at the butcher block, watching TV. They did it in 2004, AND 2008 as well.

Well, here they are again ... meeting in their pj’s at The Temp to watch yet another nail-biter election on Tuesday night. At right, Bonnie and Snake.View More images >>
