Memorial for Percival Porcher Gregg scheduled

A memorial service has been scheduled for Percival Porcher Gregg Jr. (Shay), who died on June 16, 2012 after a short illness.

The memorial will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 11 a.m., St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church or the Boca Grande Health Clinic.

Shay was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church of Boca Grande.

He is survived by: His loving wife of 52 years, Constance “Connie” Weiser; Daughter Janet Porcher Gregg of Charleston, S.C.; and son, Percival Porcher Gregg III of Virginia Beach.

Shay and Connie recently moved their permanent residence from Virginia Beach to Boca Grande. He was an exceptionally devoted husband, father and mentor for his children. His friendships were numerous and permanent.
