
BY LIZA STROUT - Changes are afoot at the North Island Village and everyone involved, from Dave Arner at Uncle Henry’s Marina to Brian Meeker with the Boca Grande Resort, can’t wait for season to get underway.
At Uncle Henry’s, Arner believes that job one is correcting the misconception that the marina is a private, members-only organization.
“It couldn’t be further from the truth,” he said. “In fact, some of the people who buy slips here do so because they can rent them out when they aren’t using them.”
