Local Englewood Cats have strong ties to Boca Grande. Pictures above (left to right) are Brendan Shuman (grandson of Bobby Miller, owner of Grande Aire), Brayden Curry (son of Jamie Curry, Real Estate closer at Berntsson, Ittersagen, Gunderson, & Wideikis, LLP), Coach Justin Davis (business owner of Grande Tarpon Home Services) Griffin Harrar (son of Steve Harrar, assistant coach and employed by McHugh Porter Builders, Inc.) and Travis Pringle (son of Jeff, owner of Gulf Coast Tree Service, and Bonnie Pringle, executive director of GIWA).

There are 2 games remaining this season both at the Larry Nichol Field at Ann Dever Park on San Casa Drive in Englewood. The next game is this Saturday, Oct. 6 and another one is scheduled in 2 weeks, after their off-week, followed by the playoffs, and then the Jungle Bowl and the Veterans Bowl.

Come support your local youth. This Saturday’s games will start at 9 a.m. More information to come as the Panther team makes a run at the playoffs!
