There are even more changes to the bocabeacon.com site now, including more photo-viewing opportunities and online subscriptions.
What you won’t see, however, are many of the full stories that you’re used to. Unless you’re a subscriber, of course.
Our new photo-hosting program, SmugMug, is up and running. Most of the 2012 tarpon tournament action is on there, as well as some general photos of random things.
There are also mugs, mouse pads and the standard photo “swag” you can have made.
If you are interested in seeing photos from a past event, feel free to contact us and we’ll see what we can dig up and put on the site.
Subscriptions for our print or e-editions are now online and available. You can get your subscription without even having to call the office, just have your credit card ready.
Last week we started running only teasers to most of our online stories. We’re experimenting with the theory right now, so be patient. The top two or three stories will be online in full, but the rest will be what we call “teasers.” In other words, you’ll get the first paragraph or so, but will have to be a subscriber or pick up a newspaper to view the rest of the story.
