Hank Wright Tournament ready to go next week with a full field of golfers and exciting play

For 20 years the community has come together for this fun event which, for many, marks the end of the “season” here in Boca Grande.

Hank Wright lent his name to the event which raises funds necessary to keep the Boca Grande Health Clinic serving the community 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The event begins with a cocktail party and silent and live auction at the Gasparilla Inn beach Club at  6 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.

Tickets for the party are $50 for non-golfers, and are included in the golf entry fee. Everyone is welcome and can arrange for tickets by stopping by the Boca Grande Health Clinic Foundation office or by calling 964-0099.

The golf tournament will be held on Friday, April 13 at Lemon Bay Golf Club, and has a full field signed up and ready to go.

This year there is also a raffle being held at the auction. One lucky winner will walk away with a 2012 FIAT 500 convertible.

There are still tickets left for the raffle at $100 each.
