BY LIZA STROUT - The members of the Sarasota Orchestra Association held a luncheon, fashion show, and concert at the Gasparilla Inn & Club on Friday, Feb. 10. The event was a fundraiser to support the orchestra in the coming year.

 

Entertainment was provided by members of the Sarasota Youth Orchestra. The Association provides scholarships to many of the girls and boys who play in the orchestra.

After lunch the fashion show began. Ariel LTD, Palm on Park, and The Inn Shop all provided fashions for the models to wear.

Lorraine Ryerson, Vice President of the association’s chapter south, extended her thanks to everyone who helped out with the fundraiser. “Jennifer Jaskowiak, Jennifer Burch, and Rebecca Burch Riker have all been so generous with their assistance,” she said. “We would like to thank them for everything they have done.”
