Romney comes up the winner at Boca Grande polls

 

c28be72e522ebe6d2cb8e17a45044582.jpgMitt Romney came out the winner at the Boca Grande polls on Tuesday, Jan. 31 in the Republican presidential primary election. By the end of the day, he had garnered 346 votes at the Boca Grande Community Center polling place.

Newt Gingrich came in second with 72 votes, Rick Santorum had 25 votes, Ron Paul had 11 votes, Jon Huntsman had 3 votes and Rick Perry had one vote.

At the American Legion Post #113 in Rotonda, where voters from the Charlotte County portion of the island go to vote, Romney got 187 votes. Gingrich got 152 votes, Santorum got 50 votes, Ron Paul received 15 votes and Jon Huntsman got one vote.

You have until October 9 to make any changes to your voter registration for the presidential election in November.
