“Rounding Third” to be performed this weekend by RPP

The Royal Palm Players will be presenting “Rounding Third,” a tale of the tumultuous journey of two Little League coaches through an entire season, from their first meeting to the climactic championship game.

Performances will be on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Jan. 5 through 7 at 8 p.m. and Sunday Jan. 8 at 2 p.m. at the Boca Grande Community Center.

As the story goes, despite their differences, Michael and Don form an uneasy alliance for the benefit of the team. Over the course of exhilarating victories, heartbreaking defeats, and interminable rain-outs, the two men battle over how to lead the team.
