The Adult Day Respite program is nearing six months and is fully operational. Applications are being accepted for participants to enroll in the program.

The program is designed for persons with early to mid-stage memory loss from Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The Boca Grande Health Clinic is sponsoring the program, which began in July.

Sessions are held for participants on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The program is located in the D.L. Moody Fellowship Hall at the First Baptist Church of Boca Grande, 421 4th St.

Family members or caregivers of interested participants should contact Evelyn Darna at the Boca Grande Health Clinic, 964-2276, to apply for the program.

For more information about how you can participate or help support this program or become a volunteer please contact: Evelyn Darna or John Sielert, Boca Grande Health Clinic. You can call or email at info@bghc .org.
