The Boca Grande Art Alliance is celebrating its 25th Silver Anniversary this season. Their first show runs through Sunday, Nov. 20. Show times are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This show, called “Small Works,” will feature an array of oil paintings, watercolors, ceramics, glass sculptures, and jewelry by Boca Grande’s exhibiting Art Alliance members.
The “Small Works” show is the first of the series of eight art exhibits this season.
The show will feature an array of oil paintings, watercolors, pottery, glass, hand-made cards and jewelry by Art Alliance exhibiting member talents. “From its beginnings as table discussion to the present status as the center of the arts in Boca Grande, we are proud to say we have grown by more than 500 members,” said Pamela Pike Powers, executive director for the Art Alliance. “For a quarter century the Art Alliance has served the community with art classes, exhibitions, lectures and special events.”
The fall “Small Works” Show is the new theme show; the first in the series of the Art Alliance’s four official shows, and four other seasonal group shows.
