Boca Biz by Julianne: More choices are coming to the island

It’s still pretty quiet around town this week, but there is a definite buzz building. On Wednesday, The Temptation re-opened and The Gasparilla Inn & Club invited all to their open house

. Patrick’s Thai Bistro & Sushi opened for the season on Thursday evening and PJ’s Seagrille will be re-opening next Monday. That’s great news! Soon all of our dining venues will be available and you can get yourself out of the kitchen.

Need to get out of the house?
• Open for their members, the Boca Grande Club has modified its hours. For the week of Sunday, Oct. 23 through Saturday, Oct. 29, the clubhouse will be open for dinner only on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. Lunch and Tiki are open every day except Monday. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. For reservations call 964-7543.
• Catch your favorite sporting events, beverages and a great meal at Miller’s Dockside at the Boca Grande Marina. They have added several TVs this season so you can catch your favorite NFL teams. Private dining is available at Eagle Grille and Bellamy Lounge. 964-8000.

Monday …
• Craving an ATS? PJ’s Seagrille will be re-opening for the season on Monday, Oct. 17 for lunch and dinner. 964-0806.
• Need a great hostess gift, quick lunch or some gourmet cheeses?  The Grapevine Gourmet & Gift Shop will be re-opening for the season on Monday, Oct. 17. Hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays. 964-0614.

• Secret Garden breakfast rendezvous or delicious dinner? 3rd Street Cafe will be re-opening for the season on Thursday, Oct. 20. 964-0155.
