Fifty-five fine artists and craftsmen representing every medium will be participating in this year’s art festival, which will, as always, showcase the works of well-known local artists.
“I’m very excited about this years show,” said Carroll Swayze, artist and show chairman. “Being an invitational, I have the privilege of hand picking the artists who participate in the Art Show. I have spent countless hours this year scouring the country for unusual and fabulous art to showcase in Englewood. I am so proud to present this art festival to Englewood, Boca Grande and the surrounding area.Well-known fine artists and fine craftsmen from all over North America will be coming to town to share their incredible talents with the people of our community.”View More images >>
The festival is a premiere art collecting opportunity for local homeowners and visitors as well as being a great way to spend a day relaxing and enjoying art in a casual setting. Two local concession stands will offer food and refreshments, and Englewood Bank and Trust will provide plenty of free parking.
Swayze chaired last spring’s Boca Grande Invitational Art Festival, in conjunction with the 2012 World’s Richest Tarpon Tournament, which was hailed as one of the best collections of marine art this area has ever seen.
